MISSION STATEMENT

Promoting Bicycles, Cycling, Bike Safety, Health, Fitness, And A Green Environment In Our Inner Cities

Keeping children cycling safely in the streets is very important!!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE RIDERS FROM BELCAL

Having a cycling presence in Los Angeles is essential for the promotion and exposing of bicycling riding in our inner cities. For over 10 years, the riders from BELCAL has been providing that visibility. These riders, and other riders from other local cycling organizations, have been giving our inner city young people a taste of what cycling is like at the semi-professional and professional levels. We all need to show our appreciation for all the hardwork these cyclists have done.

It is very important to have both black and latin faces associated to cycling. Such a thing will help to motivate our young people to invest their time and energy into the sport. We again thank all our black and latin cyclists for showing a street presence throughout the years in the City of Los Angeles, in other major cities nationally, and internationally.

MANY BLACK AND LATIN YOUNG PEOPLE SIMPLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE CHALLENGES AND REWARDS ASSOCIATED WITH A CYCLING CAREER. THIS IS BECAUSE OF A LACK OF EDUCATION ABOUT THE SPORT. IC3 IS HELPING TO BRIDGE THE KNOWLEDGE DISCONNECT ABOUT THE SPORT THROUGH OUR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES.
