WELCOME TO INNER CITY CYCLING CONNECTION, INC.

PROFESSIONAL RACES, COMMUNITY RIDES, AND SCHOOL RACES PAGE

OVERVIEW

Inner City Cycling Connection, Inc.(IC3) bicycle events are separated into three categories. They are professional races, community rides, and school races.

PROFESSIONAL RACES

Professional races will involve pro-cyclists competing for prize money and trophy in our tournaments. Our Martin Luther King Jr. Race Classic ant the America's Race Classic are for professional cyclists. These professional races will be governed by the time trial race criterion standards set by the International Cycling Federation and will be similar to such popular cycling events like the Tour de France and the Amgen Tour of California.

COMMUNITY RIDES AND SCHOOL RACES

Community rides and school races on the other hand will involve everyone ranging from beginning cyclists to pros. These rides and races are more informal in nature and are intended to give the amateur cyclists a feel for cycling at a pro level along with promoting health and fitness. In addition, community rides and school races will assist in bringing awareness to some of society's illnesses and help generate funding to solve them. IC3 will work with other organizations on some of these races and rides (i.e.: the cancer society). These races and rides will help IC3 accomplish the goals set forth in our mission statement.
